I bought an awesome new pair of running shoes on Thursday and owned them for less then 15 minutes. I forgot them on the streetcar, realizing while on the subway, I scrambled to try and track down the vehicle; an hour later all hope was lost.
I was really upset and my mood changed little the next day. I tell a lot of people this and so I took my own advice ~ "it's a bad day, not a bad life." It hurt my wallet and self-awareness but I can't move forward by dwelling, and so I'm choosing to forgive and forget.
