I did my first shift today ~ condo renovation! I met many people from all walks of life, giving their time, energy and skills to a great cause. It's a little difficult to learn everything all at once especially when construction has their own set of lingo, but it was an experience. A very dirty, gritty and involving experience I really enjoyed.
I signed up for another shift next Wednesday :)
