Every so often thoughts of comparison eat away at my judgement. It bothers me when there's a disproportionate workload between equals, or when it is within somebody's means to do more for those less fortunate but don't. I don't have the right to evaluate a human being based on singular actions, but sometimes I do it anyways despite knowing how much it would suck to be on the receiving end.
As an example, we can choose to help a panhandler or refuse and walk away. We cannot judge or justify for others their choice. I need to consider that more often and challenge it less.
