I've been meaning to share my experiences from my vacation to the States earlier this month but haven't been in the headspace to write. One of the things that I've been thinking about is the environment because I did some hiking in New Hampshire and greatly enjoyed it. Last year I did a similar trip but hiked different trails and mountains. It seems strange to me that I don't do this activity in my province when the Canadian wilderness is just as rewarding.

To make up for missing two previous Do More Mondays, I've chosen three non-profit organizations that have practical solutions to social and environmental problems. Tangible results; like the view from the summit after a challenging hike.
B Lab ~ providing tools and certifying beneficial corporations; businesses that voluntarily meeting higher standards of transparency, accountability, and overall social and environmental performance, that are in the best interest of society as well as their bottom line.
Pollution Probe ~ defining environmental problems in energy, air and transportation, water, and climate change through research, education and advocacy. They work to make visible the needs of all in finding environmental solutions.
CPAWS ~ creating protected areas by working collaboratively with governments, local communities, industry and indigenous peoples; by promoting awareness and understanding of ecological principles and the inherent values of wilderness through education, appreciation and experience.
I challenge anyone to do more.
