You have failed only when you have failed to try. Act as if it were impossible to fail and it will be.
Today I participated in the Sporting Life 10K in support of sending kids with cancer to Camp Oochigeas, a very special place that provides fun and meaningful experiences at no cost to their families. Thank you tremendously for those who helped with my fundraising ~ I am extremely grateful and it means a lot knowing I can share my enthusiasm for charity with friends.
I had the pleasure of running with @thequeenie, a friend from high school, whom has never done more than a 5k road race. It was great being a part of that accomplishment and I'm very impressed with our pace and strong finish! I had no intentions of going for a personal best since I'm satisfied with my results in April, rather I just wanted to enjoy everything. The weather was sunny with light winds, the streets were filled with 27,000 runners and countless volunteers, and at the end of the day kids will have a great time at camp.
